DELTA STATE SCHOLARSHIP BOARD (DSSB) RELEASES 2025 BURSARY/SCHOLARSHIP ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
The Scholarship Department of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board is dedicated to recognizing and rewarding academic excellence among students from Delta State. Our scholarship programs aim to support exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, providing them with the financial resources needed to pursue higher education and achieve their full potential.
Mission:
To provide financial support to outstanding students, thereby promoting academic excellence and contributing to the development of a highly skilled workforce in Delta State.
Key Functions:
Merit-Based Scholarships: Administering scholarship programs to support students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance.
Eligibility Screening: Ensuring that only eligible and deserving students receive scholarships through a transparent and rigorous selection process.
Disbursement of Funds: Efficiently managing and disbursing scholarship funds directly to students’ bank accounts to cover tuition fees and other educational expenses.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Tracking the academic progress of scholarship recipients to ensure continued eligibility and optimal use of resources.
Awareness and Outreach: Raising awareness about available scholarship opportunities and guiding students through the application process.
Criteria for application includes the following
-Candidate must be of Delta origin
-Must possess National identification Number(NIN)
-Must be a registered full-time student of only Government approved private and public tertiary institutions
-Must have CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic session
-Be in 200level and above (in universities), ND II and HND(in polytechnic’s/monotechnic) and NCE II-III (in the colleges of Education)
-Must have an account with a CBN approved commercial bank
How to Apply:
Online Application: Log on to http://www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng and click on the “APPLY NOW” button to submit your scholarship form.
Processing Fee: Pay the non-refundable online processing fee using a debit card.
Acknowledgment Card: Download and print the online acknowledgment card for your personal record.
Important Dates:
2024/2025 Bursary registration will commence from Tuesday 15th April 2025 to May 14th 2025.
