The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released an important update concerning the release of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
In a statement posted on its verified X (formerly Twitter) handle today, Tuesday, 29th April 2025, JAMB explained that the results would only be released after all post-examination analyses and necessary checks are completed.
“2025 UTME results to be released as soon as all post examination analyses and other procedures are completed. Candidates are enjoined to be patient please,” the Board announced.

Why the Results Are Not Yet Out
JAMB stressed that before releasing any results, it must:

Once results are ready, candidates will be able to check them:
Online via the JAMB result portal.
Via SMS by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 with the phone number used for registration.
